The disgraced politician of 57 years confirmed that he and his ex-girlfriend Heather Mascoe had a baby boy on the 29th of June.
“We’ve named him Jonathan Jackson Ravenel and he was born by C-section,” Ravenel revealed to in the Daily Mail on Monday, the 13th of July. “We are both extremely happy. Heather is a wonderful mother and both are doing great.”
Ravenel also has his daughter Kensie with his daughter, who is 6, and son Saint 4, with his former co-star and ex-girlfriend Kathryn Dennis. He revealed to The Daily Mail on Monday that his children’s oldest haven’t seen their brother in the flesh yet.
“It’s kind of difficult to explain to them, you know, ‘This is your half-brother – different mothers, same father.’ They were a little confused,” he said. “In the end, I explained to them that you’ll be able to understand when you’re older! However, they’ve FaceTimed to the infant, and they’re thrilled for the chance to see him. They’re getting ready for this week with their mother and we’re hoping that they’ll get to meet the baby after.”
Ravenel and Dennis the 28-year-old called the sack in the year 2016 after being together intermittently over three years. The couple then got into an intense custody battle for their two children. While Dennis was briefly removed from custody following getting treatment for her addiction issues, Us Weekly confirmed in August of 2019 that she had been given the custody rights for Kensie as well as Saint.
“We have a great co-parenting relationship,” Dennis said to Us in a candid interview during BravoCon in November of 2019. “It’s good for him and it’s great for me. We’re moving forward. This marks the first time that I’ve ever said this in a while and it’s good.”
After the breakup of Dennis, Ravenel started seeing Ashley Jacobs. As fans watched them together develop on the fifth season of Southern Charm, they split the seasons between 5 and. Ravenel was then removed from the show following having pleaded guilty to accusations of assault in the third degree.
