DELL provides a backlit keyboard as an option in its Notebook/Notebook. The backlit keyboard is not activated by an Apple MacBook Pro sensor. To Turn On Backlit Keyboard in Dell laptops like Studio/Vostro/XPS/Latitude, “Hold the Fn key and press the Right Arrow key“. You will see all symbols that are lit on the keys. The same hotkey can be used to toggle between the lighting states. The lighting modes include a full keyboard, half-keyboard, and off.
Note – This function only works if the optional backlit keyboard was purchased at the time of ordering. Studio Laptops with a backlit keyboard include an icon for the LED ON/OFF switch. This icon is located on the right-arrow key.
