The Star Wars shows are now to Disney+, as Deborah Chow’s Obi-Wan-Kenobi, played by Chow, brings Ewan McGregor’s bald outcast to our screens for the long-awaited solo show.
In addition to returning to McGregor as the younger sibling from Sir Alec Guinness’ Old Ben, the cast includes familiar and new faces to fill the gaps between George Lucas’ prequel trilogy and the place it all started in 1977 with A New Hope in 1977.
But, it’s up to the newcomers to take over the show, Within the case of Moses Ingram’s Reva already claiming her place as an epic villain.

Alongside our eponymous Jedi, The first season of Obi-Wan Kenobi is an appearance by Jimmy Smits and Joel Edgerton as Bail Organa and Owen Lars and the debut of Grant Feely and Vivien Lyra Blair as the young Luke as Luke and Leia.
As the trailers warned that there’s more than just Blue Milk on Tattooine, Obi-Wan Kenobi did not waste time in whisking away from the sandy base. The majority of episode 2 was set in the neon-saturated streets of Daiyu, and there, the Jedi-in-hiding was in search of an innocent Leia who was kidnapped from Alderaan.

While Obi-Wan was initially reluctant to leave his spot and watch Luke on Tatooine, a moment of poignancy occurred when Smits’ Bail Organa reminded Obi-Wan that Leia is as significant to her as Luke. This is a heartwarming prelude to Carrie Fisher’s Leia will play in future films, particularly Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
