It’s good news for those who love seltzer, Gorin says that if you’re planning to sip something alcohol-based, White Claw 70 is the best option. “It’s lower in calories and also contains added sugars. Certain cocktails could contain up to hundreds of calories, and a lot of added sugar, which is why this is a better option than drinking frozen margaritas” she says.
However, you should drink them in moderation, however. It is recommended that you drink them in moderation. U.S. Dietary Guidelines recommend not having less than one beverage each day for women, and two for males. “One drink is considered a 12-ounce beer, 5-ounce glass, of wine or 1.5-ounces of a distilled spirit,” Gans states.
But, Gorin adds that it is pretty simple to adhere to the guidelines even if you opt to drink a higher-alcohol version. “White Claw beverages are 5% alcohol by volume–so for a 12-ounce drink, you get 0.6 ounces of alcohol,” Gorin declares. So, even if you consume two drinks with 100 calories at the same time the total consumption would be 1.2 1 ounces of alcohol four grams of sugar and 200 calories. That’s not bad!
