On the reality show “Below Deck Mediterranean,” Captain Glenn Shephard will take Lee’s place.
On the episode of the Bravo show Below Deck that aired on December 12, longtime Captain Lee Rosbach shocked his crew by announcing that he would be leaving the mega yacht midway through the season due to an ongoing health issue.
“My physical issue is deteriorating,” he partook in a confession booth. ” I feel nothing on my left side of the body. The fact that I am unable to do anything about it is the most frustrating aspect of the situation because I had high hopes for much greater progress. It’s tough.”
Lee had to use crutches to get around the boat because of his illness, which made it hard for him to do his job.
He explained, “One of my biggest issues right now is that I can’t observe.” It is my responsibility to know who is doing what.
He went on to say, “I owe it to my crew to treat them right.” They anticipate that from me. If a captain is truly objective, there comes a time when he should prioritize the crew’s needs.”
